ACF meeting reminder for Tuesday, January 10, at 6:30 p.m.

Hello folks, Happy New Year to all!

A special thanks goes out to Chef Dan Flynn of Stafford’s for hosting the December meeting up in Charlevoix, MI at The Weathervane! It was an awesome time!

On to news!

It is time for a new semester at the GLCI, and a new series of meetings with the ACF. This months meeting will be held on Tuesday, January 10, 2017, right here at Lobdell’s, A Teaching Restaurant

Chef Kimberly Ryan of "Hell’s Kitchen" fame will be our guest chef for the meeting. Ryan, who studied at the Culinary Institute of Michigan in downtown Muskegon, has worked at a variety of restaurants in the Grand Traverse area, including The Cook’s House, Black Star Farms and Alliance in Traverse City’s Warehouse District.

Please join us for social hour at 6:30 p.m. and Chef Ryan’s presentation at 7:15 p.m.

The ACF is the Great Lakes Culinary Institute’s accrediting organization and offers a great many opportunities for our students.

Please join us, we have a great time, learn a lot, and enjoy a networking/social time each meeting. Get to know the folks that make up the local food community.

You need not be a member to attend!
